Dr. Cory Brown
Owner & General Dentist
For Dr. Cory Brown, great dentistry starts with a simple idea: treat people the way you would want your own family treated.
Originally from Prince George, Dr. Brown completed his undergraduate studies in Kelowna before earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of British Columbia in 2009. After beginning his career in Northern British Columbia and opening his first dental practice in Fort St. James, he eventually returned to Kelowna-the community he and his family now call home.
As the owner of Kettle Valley Family Dental, Dr. Brown has built a practice that combines advanced clinical care and modern technology with something equally important: genuine, down-to-earth human connection. He believes patients deserve clear explanations, honest recommendations and the freedom to make informed decisions about their care-without pressure or judgment.
Dr. Brown enjoys the full scope of general dentistry, with particular interests in dental implants, full-mouth rehabilitation, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics and facial aesthetics. He has pursued extensive continuing education in these areas, including advanced training in orthodontics, root canal therapy, implant dentistry, smile design and facial aesthetics. His commitment to ongoing education allows him to offer many complex treatments in one familiar and comfortable setting.
Before becoming a dentist, Dr. Brown worked in everything from restaurants and retail to highway construction, logging, mining and residential construction. Those experiences helped shape his practical, approachable style—and his ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
Outside the clinic, Cory enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, staying active, dirt biking, mountain biking, travelling and taking advantage of everything the Okanagan has to offer.
His goal is straightforward: to provide excellent dentistry, treat people honestly and make every patient feel genuinely at home.
